Halo Turns the Art of Quality Manufacturing to Composite Doors
Extrusion
company WHS Halo has introduced a range of high quality and performance
composite doors - the Gallery collection that the company says
overcomes all the issues associated with timber and PVC-U items.
Furthermore,
while the demand for composite doors has been growing, the sector has
been beset by production, delivery and reliability issues - and WHS
Halo believes it is the first business able to successfully offer a
cost effective product that is both technically unbeatable and simultaneously
supported by industry-leading standards of service.
The Gallery door collection is based around the company's chamfered
or sculptured profile suites - so as to be fully compatible with the
company's leading window systems - and is designed to offer a combination
of aesthetic appeal with the benefits of high security, robustness,
low maintenance and weather performance.
The
door blade is manufactured with an impact resistant, glass reinforced
acrylic resin face and an internal thermoplastic surface bonded to a
welded, steel-reinforced substrate.
The cavity is fully insulated with CFC free polyurethane foam, with
zero ozone depletion potential, to offer excellent thermal performance
and insulation values.
The blade is then fitted into a robust outer frame, made from high performance
profile. PVC-u, aluminium low level thermally broken or Doc M wheelchair
access thresholds are available as options.
The Gallery collection includes a choice of six different door styles,
available in four colours and two woodgrain effects - giving a total
of 36 design options within the range.
Through colour skins are employed for durability, and enhanced protection
against casual marking in use. The door and doorsets are entirely timber
free and so the possibility of rotting, swelling, shrinkage or warping
is also obviated.
Necessarily bespoke in size, the doors are 68mm for enhanced thermal
performance, and feature a twin seal 'double rebate' which design provides
enhanced weather performance, ease of manufacture and ease of installation.
The doors meet also Parts M and N of the Building Regulations through
the specification of 4mm toughened glass to BS 6206 Class A and/ or
an ultra-low level threshold.
WHS Halo is also pioneering an industry-first distribution arrangement
that takes its professed mission of being 'In Business Together' to
a new high, says the company.
The new Gallery composite door collection from WHS Halo sets new
standards in quality and performance for composite doors; combined with
superior levels of service and support. The move is further evidence
of WHS Halo's commitment to innovation, and driving increased sales
and profits for all its partners.
