Newstead Supply Octagon Shaped Apartments for Young Professionals

In 1999 contractor Alan S Beardmore Ltd was responsible for building an octagon shaped block of apartments in Sneyd Green, Stoke-on-Trent. Three and a half years later the company is building a similar block next door with plans for a third block underway. Each block contains 11 apartments with a price range between £65,000 and £95,000.

‘These unusual shaped blocks of apartments were constructed as part of a research and development programme I’ve been involved in for the last eight years,’ comments Alan Beardmore, owner of Alan S Beardmore Ltd. ‘The programme aims to build affordable accommodation for young professional first time buyers. I turned to Newstead Trade Frames to supply the windows and doors.

 

‘The first block of apartments included 48 full height windows with a mid rail and top openers, along with 12 double French patio doors. The second block will be housing very similar products. I’ve used Newstead for both projects,’ explains Alan, ’because they provide excellent service and quality for a competitive price. It’s not easy to find all three qualities in one company.’
