Pilkington Back on Form but Prices Still Low
Lurking behind Pilkington's annual results statement, which shows pre-tax profits up 26% for the year to March 31st 2005, is the fact that the worst performance came from the European Building Products division. Not sure how many more times we can say the 'flat glass market is flat', as the GP&T exhibition seems to have cornered that particular cliche after last week's heroic but difficult second outing. More reports from what will hopefully remain as a permanent fixture in the diary - one way or the other - can be found here.
