Saint-Gobain has announced its 2005 results, and has clearly had its accountants working overtime in essentially producing two sets of figures: one with, and one without, the effects of purchasing the lossmaking BPB. Excluding BPB, sales were up 8.4% and profits were up 6.4%. BPB wiped some 54m Euros off the bottom line in the group's 2005 figures. |
