As someone who was previously heavily involved in the Glassex Awards I am able to do this, but I am anxious to ensure that it is an event that reflects - and is representative of - the wishes of the industry.
To that end I have canvassed a number of interested parties and the results have been positive. I now wish to know what you, as an industry professional, feel about the subject. I am interested to hear your views on issues such as timing, venue, costing and judging and what you think we could do to help to encourage applicants.

Please feel free to make me aware of your views as they will all be considered seriously. If it is to be a true Industry Platform we need to know - from you - answers to questions like 'What should the purpose of an Awards Event be?' or 'What sort of image do we want to project about the industry we are in?'
An awards page will soon be a permanent feature of the Gl@zine which will feature the latest news and views about the proposed Glass and Glazing Industry Awards, and several other unique features that will enhance and support the awards procedure. I look forward to your comments.
