MAKES ITS GLASSEX DEBUT

AGB - Italian manufacturer of window and door
hardware for PVC-u, timber and aluminium - is exhibiting at Glassex
for the first time to launch a major new product.
AGB, a privately owned, family run company established for over 50 years,
manufactures a wide range of products in-house, including multi point
door bolts, mortise locks, hinges, espagnolettes, tilt and turn gear
and Euro profile cylinders. The company recently launched its ALFA 555
shootbolt espagnolette for PVC-u systems, which has passed all test
standards required for BS 7950.
However, the focus for Glassex 2002 will be placed on its new range
of dual spindle door bolts incorporating the strikingly named Poseidon
lock box.
Offering a high level of combined security, the Poseidon lock box incorporates
two opposing hooks that act as 'anchors' and operate in unison with
the central linear bolt. Two Poseidon lock boxes are used on each door
bolt in conjunction with a central lockbox comprising a reversible latch
and deadbolt. The new model has been developed to meet the performance
levels of both PAS 023 and PAS 024 and has also been designed to complement
the existing AGB Unitop door bolt.

at Glassex:
