Reaching new horizons is the theme for Avocet, one of the most influential manufacturers of security hardware, at Glassex 2002. This year sees the launch of a number of pioneering additions to the company’s extensive range, plus the opportunity to meet its experienced and growing sales team.

Visitors to Avocet’s stand can also see a selection of security systems for PVCu, timber and aluminium windows and doors, together with fixings and fasteners from a collection of over 20,000 products. Making their debut alongside existing lines will be an exclusive new range of Doorbolts, plus stylish Door Handles with a long-lasting and highly decorative PVD finish aimed at architects, specifiers and the flourishing DIY market.

In addition, Avocet will also be unveiling a brand new Espagnolette Rod – no other supplier offers as many types – and demonstrating the revolutionary ‘zip style’ locking system which has received a phenomenal reaction from the market since it was unveiled at last year’s show.

Also on display will be Avocet’s growing range of access control systems which provide ideal add-on sales opportunities. Products include a Video Door Entry Kit featuring CCD camera technology, the company’s first own brand Wireless Burglar Alarm System which utilises solar power, Dummy Cameras and Magnetic Locks.
