Glass Office Lite which will make its first appearance at Glassex this year on Clear Thinking's stand is a cut down version of the popular Glass Office program. It is a simple and inexpensive invoicing and label system for sealed unit manufacturers, glaziers and processors. A demonstration CD will be available on their stand.

There are also many new additions to their established flagship program Glass Office including fully integrated Georgian & Leading production including full size drawings if required, Toughened Purchase orders for ordering single glazed toughened glass from your supplier, either by fax or electronically and Laminated Purchase orders for those who buy in pre-cut laminated single glazed.

There is also improved purchase ordering for bought in units and ancillary items, especially useful for glaziers who no longer make their own units. Other new facilities are bar-coding for monitoring factory performance and identifying 'what is where?' issues and scheduling for planning deliveries, ensuring manufacturing/production commitments can be kept and predicting busy/slack periods to try to balance shop floor production. Archiving of old orders for quick search and easy recall for customer service, quality and warranty issues will also be available in the new version as will labels which can print in different colours for different customers, and contain your or
their logos as appropriate.
