Stand A054 Maco Door & Window Hardware UK Ltd is participating at this year's Glassex with Wagner GB Ltd to reinforce the two companies strong links and market positions within the industry sector. Maco will be showing a host of new products, many of which are making their UK début. New Products on display are: 1.
The new Maco Silver Look surface protection coating (pictured right) that
meets the highest technical standards. Maco Silver Look will be available
shortly on the complete range of Maco window and door fittings. 2. Maco 'Tronic', a remote alarm system that can be fitted to any Maco locking mechanism, be it for residential doors, tilt and turn windows and casement windows. 3. Maco 'Remote', an automatic opening system for tilt and turn windows that can be linked into a central control system, fire alarm, rain sensors for automatic opening or closing of the window. 4. Maco 'Trend Tilt Turn Fittings' a new system of hinges and drive gears that incorporate a new fully adjustable sash lifting device, this ensures the smooth operation and correct function of the window for many years to come. 5. Maco 'Cottage Window Fittings'using the Maco MACH II shootbolt espagnolette this double side hung window can be easily constructed without the requirement for a fixed mullion profile. This window combination enables the simple construction of windows to the requirements of Approved Document B of the Building Regulations. 6. Maco 'Centre Locking System'designed to work with the Maco MACH II shootbolt espagnolette, the centre locking system allows for locking points to link around the corners and up the side of the sash on tall top hung windows to give weather performance in the vulnerable area between hinge and opening corner. 7. Maco 'iS'security tilt and turn system, 'iS'is a new mushroom cam that self adjusts to the air gap of the window ensuring that the locking cam always engages into the striker plate. Apart from this the cam also has a roller function for a smooth operation and reduces handle force. 'iS'stands for Intelligent Security and has been tested to BS7950:1997. Maco will also be showing its range of door locks as well as a residential door that has been tested by the BSI to PAS23 and PAS24.
