RITEC
AIMS TO PUT MORE GLASS INTO GLASSEX
Stand
GP 050
Ritec
International - a world leader in non-stick, easy-clean glass
surface technology - has teamed up with the organisers of Glassex to showcase
new glass-processing techniques within the Glass Pavilion at the 2002
event, with the help of its customers.
Ritec is best known in the UK marketplace for its ClearShield glass surface
technology, for which it received a prestigious Millennium Products Award
last year. The company has taken a larger than usual stand in the Glass
Pavilion at Glassex to enable key customers to share in the benefits offered
by the event by encouraging them to demonstrate the wide-ranging possibilities
of glass protection and design.

The
Ritec stand has been designed to accommodate several mini-stands
for these customers as well as special display areas, so that glass specifiers
visiting the show can see a variety of exhibits from the glass arena all
in one place.
Ritec will also host a charity auction during the event where many of
the creative samples on display may be purchased in aid of a good cause.
Brian Eddleston, UK Sales Manager for Ritec International, is eager that
all specifiers of glass and glass related products see exactly what can
be achieved with todays technologies:
Glass processing methods have developed dramatically during the
last 5 years, but there hasnt really been a suitable arena in the
UK to showcase these developments on a regular basis. What we want to
achieve is to put more glass back into Glassex where it should be, and
to give our customers the opportunity to prove how versatile glass can
be, whether applied to buildings, interiors or even objets díart.
We have encouraged them to be as creative as possible in their efforts
and are very much looking forward to displaying the results.
Joanne Smith, Exhibition Director for Glassex, agrees:
Glassex visitors and exhibitors alike have expressed a strong interest
in seeing more glass and glass technology at the event. We are delighted
that we are able to work together with Ritec to showcase the most innovative
solutions for the glass industry and we are working hard to attract a
great deal of visitor interest in this sector for 2002.
