ProConvection
is a flat tempering furnace developed especially to solve the future challenges
of high capacity tempering of coated glass. The launched technology concept
is providing new possibilities for the UK glass processors that need more
tempering capacity for coated glass since Part L and more extensive use
of LowE glasses.ProConvection provides 40 % more capacity and reliability for tempering all types of glass. The new furnace is capable of handling hard coated LowE, soft coated Super LowE glass and clear glass from usual window sizes up to large architectural glass products. The new tempering furnace is based on Professional Convection Technology taking advantage of Tamglass experience of heat control in advanced tempering processes. In order to boost the production, Tamglass developed an innovative solution for fully controlled convection heating. In this heating system the 99.9 % clean air blow is directed from the both sides of the glass surface in order to guarantee fast heating. The years of experience and a field-testing program for various convection heating methods resulted in a totally new convection heating method coming onto the market.
